Withings, taken over by Nokia watch maker during the IFA berus in Berlin has introduced a smartwatch which is provided with a regular analog clock. The so-called Steel HR has no touch screen, like we often encounter on the smart watches from the major manufacturers
.
The Steel HR has a normal dial indicating the time, a small dial that indicates the percentage of the amount of steps and a small round display showing heart rate, notifications, step count, distance traveled and calories burned are shown. All this, including your sleep behavior is reflected in a corresponding app on the smartphone.
The Steel HR is waterproof and recognizes when you start a workout. The watch will track your heart rate constantly during exercise. Outside the workouts will be shown an average heart rate.
The Withings Steel HR comes next month on the market in two different sizes. The 36mm- version is available in the colors black and white for a suggested retail price of 189.96 euros. The 40mm version will cost 199.95 euros and is only available in black.
