the beginning of this year presented Alcatel Idol 4S is already available in a special plastic box that can also be used as VR goggles. At the IFA in Berlin Alcatel her next step shown in the form of Alcatel Vision. This is a completely stand-alone VR goggles that performs amazingly well.

The Alcatel Vision is a stand-alone VR goggles meaning all art such as displays, sensors, and procesor battery is in the glasses.
The Alcatel Vision is a stand-alone VR glasses which means that any technique such as displays, sensors, procesor and battery is in the glasses.

the Alcatel Vision is a large VR glasses, but that’s VR experience absouut at good. Because the battery of Alcatel Vision is inserted into the neck support, Alcatel Vision is well balanced and contributes significantly more pleasant than, say, the Gear VR.

IMAX Experience

Because the Alcatel Vision is a stand-alone VR glasses, this means that all the technology is incorporated into the glasses. Alcatel Vision is equipped with two monitors with a screen resolution 1K each. In addition, Alcatel Vision offers a viewing angle of 120 degrees, which allows users according to Alcatel a “IMAX Experience” will get in their living room.

Surprisingly smooth and true

Thanks to the Exynos processor from Samsung and a large number of sensors Alcatel Vision is able to register the user’s movements and translate well in the VR environment. VR experience of Alcatel Vision is thus surprisingly natural. Unlike other VR goggles is the delay between movements and their visibility nil (approximately 17 milliseconds), so users do not get sick by using the VR goggles.

The implementation of Alcatel Vision which Alcatel has demonstrated at IFA in Berlin was still a prototype. Alcatel hopes Alcatel Vision to be able to go to market in early 2017 and is targeting a sales price between 499 and 599 euros.

Alcatel 360

Both 360-degree cameras directly via a Micro USB plug smartphones are clicked. It is also possible to connect the camera with a smartphone using a USB cable. The Alcatel 360 cameras contain only two cameras with 180-degree cameralenzen.

Because the energy and power of smartphones is used, the 360-degree cameras Alcatel considerably smaller and cheaper than the 360-degree cameras competitors. An additional advantage is that the cameras very easily can be transported and fit into any bag or pocket. The Alcatel 360 cameras also not only work on smartphones Alcatel, but on every Android smartphone with a Micro USB connector. This can be downloaded and installed a special app from the Google Play store.
