Both the XZ as the X Compact are like the names already indicate, additions to the X-line earlier this year. The XZ is an improved version of the X Performance, which like that extension 699 euros will cost. X Compact is what price and specifications is a little bit in between midrange device Xperia X, and cheaper smartphone XA.

First impression: Xperia XZ and X Compact
Sony has the appearance of these two new phones given an update. The changes are, as we have come to expect from the company, at least. Both devices have the typical Sony look, with the fingerprint scanner on the side and the angular design. However, these devices are completed slightly more than previous Sony devices, but that is a minimal difference.
Compact
The X Compact is as stated less than the other Xperia devices this year. Smaller size of the X Compact ensures that the device fits comfortably in the hand. The case feels a bit as if it has a plastic coating, which takes some getting used but also ensures that it is not easily get out of hand.
The camera, something that Sony often it will ( and can) stand out from other devices, is the X Compact improved over the X. the camera shoots still photos with a resolution of 23 megapixels, but now has something that Sony calls “triple image sensing, what for should make better pictures in difficult lighting conditions can be created.

Further tests should show whether the camera is really better, but our first impression is that the camera freely responds quickly.
the only thing the Compact on hand in respect to the X, is the screen resolution. The screen has an HD resolution rather than full hd with the Xperia X, although that is offset in part by the smaller screen size. During the short time we have had this device in our hands was the lower resolution but not disturbing.
XZ
Like the compact XZ has a slightly different appearance than the appliances introduced earlier this year. The corners of the device are notably sharper, but a significant difference is not.
Interestingly, the XZ especially that the device but differs little from earlier this year released X Performance. Both devices have a 23 megapixel camera and a full HD screen, only the screen diagonal of 0.2 inches XZ longer.
The camera XZ has triple image sensing, as well Sony promises a better image stabilization. In our previous review of the X Performance we were all excited about the camera of the device, and when Sony promised knows where to make is that impressive.
Conclusion
somewhat striking that once again Sony releases two new devices, which also little different from other phones. Earlier we already concluded that the X Performance is a nice phone, but slightly overpriced. The Xperia XZ threatens to run into the same trap, although it can be regarded as camera performance a standout promises.
