Cybercriminals are trying more and more phones to crack – NOS

To access to the mobile phones, put criminals the same techniques as they use in computers. They do that because “mobile devices are getting less work as a simple phone, but work more like mobile computers,” writes Europol in the report.

But malware and ransomware for computers continue to be the biggest problem. The biggest threat is in the proliferation of ransomware, where the system is locked until the user ransom pay. The development of rogue software to the bank account information of computer users to figure out, remains among cybercriminals also popular.

Europol is also evidence that criminal organizations often attempt to misuse the popular contactless payment. This allows the organization to see how quickly criminals are able to adapt to new technologies.
