For the first time Apple makes a smartphone without a headphone jack for 3.5mm plugs. The smartphone can still connect to Bluetooth headphones or earbuds that fit the charging port.
Apple for the new iPhone delivers earbuds that can be inserted into the Lightning port. Also is in every iPhone-box standard adapter that plugs into a traditional headphone Lightning plug. People with older headphones will have to use a dongle.
Apple announced new wireless earbuds. AirPods which look the same as the current EarPod headphones, but then the two caps wirelessly. The AirPods go 5 hours of use on a single charge. The earbuds are charged in the included storage box and are available from late October from 179 euros.
