Skeleton found in roots fallen tree – Telegraaf.nl

After a fierce storm saw the inhabitants of the Irish place Collooney a large tree over 200 years old was blown down. That was a shock. But what they then discovered in the roots of the tree went far beyond the imagination

In the roots hung a skeleton. A part of the lower part of the skeleton was still in the ground, reports The Irish Times. Archaeologists studied the human remains and discovered that the skeleton of a young man and probably a thousand years old. The man probably lived in the Middle Ages and was killed with a knife, according to the research involving stabbings were discovered.
