The Royal Military Police has conducted research Monday at the M-pier at Schiphol Airport, in the presence of a firearm. It turned out to be a phone casing in the shape of a pistol, reported a spokesman

Anyone who is currently on the M-pier was, had to be checked again. After it became clear that it was a false alarm, the pier is open again.
A security guard saw security during what appeared to be a firearm and hit the alarm. By the end of the pier aircraft could temporarily leave. Schiphol reported that around 23:00 the traffic was back on track.
