New Windows 10-build 10 547 has bug fixes and improved photo app – Personal Computer Magazine

Microsoft has released a new build of Windows 10 for early testers. In Build 10 547 contains a number of minor additions and changes, such as the ability to remove the background of the login screen and the Photos app updated.

The new Technical Preview is available for Windows Insiders, who can win all through the Fast Ring in Windows Update.

Bugfixes

In the new build are a lot of bugfixes. It is now possible to play wallpapers randomly, a much requested feature that it was in the old Technical Previews, before Windows 10 was officially out. Also, audio must again work better with Realtek drivers. Many users had suddenly no sound after upgrading to Windows 10, because the Realtek drivers do not work properly with Windows 10. That was one of the most common problems that we described last month.

New Features

There are also some new features in the operating system. It is now possible to put four rows of tiles next to each other in the start menu, and users can delete the default background at the login screen.

Updated apps

A number of apps has also been updated, such as the Photos- app. Who got into the cell build a lot of attention, but also in the desktop version of the app gets an update. It is now possible to import and view images from OneDrive, and there are more options for slide shows.

The preview build is to download Windows Insiders. Although Windows 10 since late July is out, Microsoft will continue to update the operating system. Windows 10 is therefore “never finished” as the company puts it.
