Microsoft Adds Start Menu to Windows RT – Telegraaf.nl

REDMOND –

Microsoft has a start menu rather suddenly added to the not really successful Windows RT. This version of Windows is one for the less powerful tablets. But now the RT receives just like Windows 10 start menu. This reports the support site of the tech company

.

Users can choose whether they want to make use of it, because in addition to the new start menu one can also choose to use the ‘old’ home screen. In addition, users can set whether they want to see recently opened programs in the Start menu and how much. The appearance of the Start menu can be customized.

Windows RT is so far no success. It was originally intended for tablets that do not use chip from Intel and thereby operate many programs of Windows on the system. The system is partly due to the limitations very versatile

The update of RT from now rolled out to users, but there can not be switched to Windows 10
