Logitech comes with smart camera – Telegraaf.nl

Logitech gets in the crowded market of home cameras connected to the internet. The Logi Circle enables users to remotely keep an eye on their house via an app on their smartphone

Logitech stressed that Logi Circle is more than a security camera. It is according to the company a way to keep in touch with everyone at home. Next image can also hear sound and it is possible via camera app to make calls.

It is also possible the camera to send an alert when there are interesting activities take place in the home. The camera is for this purpose equipped with a technology that recognizes patterns of living and filtering images. It is also possible via the Day Briefs option to see so-called hyper-lapse video. This option automatically creates a video summary of 30 seconds with the best moments of the day.

The Logi Circle has the size of a tennis ball and is not attached to cords which moves easily from one room to another can become. The device is recharged via a supplied charging ring. The rechargeable battery can stream up to three hours and goes into power saving mode up to 12 hours.

The Logi Circle is expected to be available in the Netherlands from October this year for a suggested retail price of € 199.
