System discovered with five stars – De Morgen

The researchers first saw two stars. Who are so close together that their “atmospheres” touch each other. They do only six hours to a radio button to turn each other. When they looked further, they discovered two stars. The distance between the two pairs is about 21 billion kilometers, nearly four times the distance from the sun to Pluto. Then they saw a fifth star, about 2 billion kilometers of the second pair.

The gravity connects the five-star together. That means they are actually one system. They are not separate systems.

Scientists have found no planets at the five-star, but do not exclude that there are. ,, This is really exotic. If there living beings in the Star Wars would not fall in the sky that they see. Sometimes, there are five suns that illuminate the landscape ” said lead researcher Mark Lohr.

The system is in the constellation Ursa Major. It has been named 1SWASP J093010.78 + 533859.5. The five stars themselves are smaller and cooler than our sun. But together they give so much light that people can see them from home with small telescopes.
