Dwarf Planet Pluto appears greater than previously thought – Yahoo! News

Dwarf Planet Pluto appears assumed greater than ever. That’s New Horizons spacecraft, which is en route to the dwarf planet set. Pluto appears to have a diameter of 2,370 kilometers, which is slightly higher than was assumed.

It is the first time since the discovery of Pluto in 1930 that the size of the object can be recorded. The planet was too far from Earth to do that with any certainty

Scientists have now the US space agency NASA planet the size determined on the basis of information provided by New Horizons on his way to the dwarf planet and this afternoon skims along.
