More rumors about new Nexus Huawei – All About Phones

The rumors that Chinese phone maker Huawei is going to make the next Nexus smartphone for Google, are becoming stronger. Now The Information announces it again. With the Chinese Nexus Google hopes to circumvent the Chinese government’s policy, which now prohibits the Google Play Store on phones.

The rumors about the new Nexus Huawei doing the rounds for months. It would appear this year two Nexus Phones: a midrange device from LG, the LG Nexus 5 to follow, and a flagship of Huawei with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor on board. Which Huawei will also be larger.

The Huawei would have a screen size of 5.7 inches, the LG would hold smaller. Huawei screen size corresponds approximately to that of the current Motorola Nexus 6, the first Nexus placed by Google directly into the segment of super phones and priced.

Important for Google is that the Chinese market broken for apps from the Play Store. Chinese Android Phones rely on alternative download stores for apps, because the Play Store is not allowed.
