There are now a lot of Lumia phones on the market, in terms of specifications and in appearance not much different. Microsoft keeps the large and expensive models have even until after the Windows 10 launch, but in the meantime there are quite workable models for sale as the great mid-range 640.
Though the serial numbers of the Lumia series at first glance seem confusing, however there is a logic to it. For example, the 640 falls in the 600-series, and that is the Lumia’s middle class. The 640 therefore are not quality specifications, but that is no obstacle in this phone.
Strong housing
The Lumia feels quite in earnest, and is quite thick and heavy. That is despite the plastic housing that is deceptively light look.

About Windows 8.1 is not much more to write than is already done with other Lumia devices. The interface remains the same, with the tiles on the home screen and on the right an alphabetical list of applications.
