Leaked Nvidia Slide: GeForce GTX 1060 15% faster than RX 480 – Hardware.Info

 by , source: Videocardz.com

After the arrival of the AMD Radeon RX 480 raining suddenly leaked information from the green camp – obviously not entirely ontoevallig. For example, now there are slides leaked Nvidia’s presentation on the 1060 GTX, which specifications and benchmark graphs are displayed.

Pascal card must be about 15% faster than the new range of AMD (for that matter, please note on the axes of the graph) and Virtual Reality might even run out to a lead of 25%. As expected, the biggest gain Nvidia in energy efficiency, which should be better with the 1060 GTX as much as 45% than the RX 480.

Nvidia has engaged in the GP106 chip of the GTX 1060 reportedly 1,280 cuda cores; exactly half of the 1080 GTX and two thirds of the GTX 1070. Given the roughly similar boost frequency of 1.7 GHz is thus therefore expect a performance of just about 65-70% of the 1070 GTX, which he claimed our benchmarks rather precisely equivalent would perform the RX 480 (although this will largely depend on the currently unknown base clock frequency).

The 1060 GTX will get in addition to its boost frequency of 1.7 GHz, moreover, 6GB of GDDR5 memory that does its work at 8 GB / s. Furthermore, thanks to the TDP of 120 watts, only one 6-pin PEG connector and we find behind 2.0b HDMI, dual-link DVI and DisplayPort 1.4 course three times.

According to the latest rumors Nvidia will the new 1060 GTX on July 7 explained.
