Pokemon Go appears officially in the Netherlands – NU.nl

Earlier Dutch had to create a foreign App Store account to download the app, while Android users to download a separate file outside the official Google app store for.

Dutch can Pokemon Go now officially out of the App Store or Google Play without changing country. In total, the game has been released in 26 additional European countries. Earlier, the deployment was limited because the servers of the developer Niantic hard time were among the large influx of players.

Saturday seems Pokemon Go indeed experiencing a fault. shows that thousands of people are complaining about the problem in a survey of Allestoringen.nl. Presumably Pokémon Go servers are heavy, because gamers from 26 new countries, the game can download now.

Pokemon Go players must walk around through the real world to the Japanese samples to catch. They can also train them and let them fight in gyms. Because players have to visit different locations to get better in the game, the last few days were a lot of groups Pokemon Go -fans to see on the streets

Revenue

Worldwide, the game is estimated that tens of millions of times downloaded, though no exact statistics known users. In the Netherlands, 1.3 million people could already play the game.

It is not known exactly how much money developer Niantic earn in the game, though market analysts estimate shortly after the appearance in the US that the iOS version as one spent 1.6 million dollars a day in the drawer.

Niantic is a startup formed within Google, but was later divested to allow for a partnership with Nintendo. Google and Nintendo are both shareholders in the game maker, though unknown what percentage of Niantic owned by the companies
