“Next Surface is an all-in-one PC, launched in 2017″ – Personal Computer Magazine

The next new Surface is perhaps not a laptop or hybrid, but a more traditional computer including screen. Microsoft would work on an all-in-one PC with the Surface name.

This all-in-one would be an alternative to the successor of the Surface Book, which therefore would later come than previously expected from. Microsoft would have planned the second Surface Book for the second half of 2016, which would now be the first half of 2017. Partly because there Kaby Lake processors from Intel can, the successor to the Skylake CPUs.

Rumors

Source rumor site DigiTimes, which for that matter has not proved particularly reliable in the past. Nevertheless, writes The Verge based on insiders’ Microsoft experimenting with various traditional PC form, which may fall under the Surface brand name.

Anyway, Microsoft has in any case already arranged space for the erewand in one of his offices in Redmond, evidenced by tweet below. And yet seem real on laptops. Hmm, what to think (or hope) you?
