Pokemon Go already the summer hit of 2016 – GSM Helpdesk Netherlands

Who runs the next time on the street people looking in from their smartphone screen in the area appear to scour for anything, is witnessing now the rage of 2016: Pokemon Go. Last Wednesday game developer Niantic, partly delivered into the hands of Nintendo, Pokemon Go in the United States, Australia and New Zealand. Although the game is not officially available in Europe, tens of thousands of Dutch have installed the game in a roundabout way.

Pokemon Go just seems to be such a big craze when the game ‘Flappy Bird’ in was 2014. Due to the great popularity also the same problems at Pokemon Go on. Meanwhile, dozens of clones of the game in circulation have been around which all malware is found in some clones.

Not yet officially available

Pokemon Go is not yet released in the Netherlands. It is currently still unclear when the game will be released in the Netherlands. Due to the large number of users of the game in Australia, New Zealand and the United States, as well as to the large number of people the game is installed and used in a roundabout way, Niantic with significant server problems. Only when they have the game in more countries may be released solved.

Via detour yet available

Outside Australia, New Zealand or the United States it is also possible to download the game, install and play with any work setting. Apple users need to do to create a new (fake) Apple account using a VPN connection to an American server to a US address. Hereinafter ‘thinks’ the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch that is an American model, which allows the user to access the US version of the App Store.

(Unsafe) mirrors

Android users can download Pokemon Go through various mirrors on the internet, where you can find the Android installation file. For Android users, however, sticks here quite a big risk on. Several APK files Pokemon Go prove to have been infected with malware. The use of mirrors to download the Pokémon Go installation and installation is therefore not recommended for security reasons.

Rumors

Currently, it is not known when Pokemon Go officially will be released in Europe and the Netherlands. Some sources speak of a very early release within days. Other sources say that it may take a while because the servers of Niantic must be constantly expanded to meet the majority of users.
