Snapchat as we know it stops within a month of existence. You could argue that Snap Chats new feature Memories, Memories, destroys what the app today is just so powerful.
With those memories, which will be rolled out over the next month for all users, you will be able to save snaps (photographs and videos) in the app. You can view them later and those memories even months later (again) to a Snapchat-story or tell a friend.
That’s a huge change from how the app works now. The only way to send photos today by right now to take a photo or video. That picture is not doctored days. From the time Snapchat activates the Reminders feature, you will not even know whether the travel you’ve got right now is made, or for months lay rotting in a virtual album.
It seems the ambition Snap Chat to take the place of the default photo app on your smartphone. That’s not so surprising, because Snapchat does no more than adapt to the new reality of its users.
