Microsoft removes 2850 jobs – Computable

Microsoft is again cut jobs. Disappear in 2850 ICT jobs. That amount comes on top of a previously announced reorganization of 1850 jobs. The new reorganization should be completed before the end of the year 2017. There are mostly redundancies in the mobile phone stuck where the former Nokia activities are housed. Also, jobs will disappear in the global sales organization.

This is evident from data that Microsoft sent to Securities and exchange Commission. (Page 16). Microsoft announced the deletion of 1850 jobs end in May 2016, but will still have a large number of jobs at, according to the document.

Microsoft, which earlier plans to become a major player in the mobile market, waives that course and will focus only on smartphones in the upper segment. According to those involved, the Lumia name, which Microsoft uses for the devices, deleted and mobile phones aimed at the business segment included in the Surface product.

Smartphones replacing PC
