Apple pulls out of its own advertising service iAd. This is reported by insiders to BuzzFeed

The platform continues to exist, but according to sources, Apple will no longer be directly involved in the sales and creation of ads. “It’s just not something we’re good at,” so would have one of the sources said. The service is more automated. Publishers can sell in the new format directly via iAd ads and maintain than the entire turnover. The change comes as the insiders soon, maybe even this week.
Apple iAd launched in 2010 as a new vision for advertising, which allows interactive advertising within the apps without users having to leave the app. In 2014 gave CEO Tim Cook that iAd a “very small” was part of the company
