PC sales decline 8.3 percent in Q4 – Gartner – Telecompaper

 The global number of shipped PCs declined in the fourth quarter of last year by 8.3 percent to 75.7 million. Gartner said in a recently published study. It is according to Gartner, the fifth quarter of decline in a row. For the whole of 2015 decreased the number of PCs shipped compared to the previous year by eight percent to 288.7 million with shrinkage in almost all regions. Market leader is still Lenovo, which takes little more than a fifth of all PC sales accounted for. Lenovo is followed by HP with a market share of 18.8 percent. The three top is closed off by Dell (13.5%).
