Facebook Messenger has 800 million users – Telegraaf.nl

Facebook Messenger had the end of 2015 800 million users. The social network does not seem satisfied with that. It says that the service itself is still only in the initial phase

While 800 million users is quite an impressive number, it seems growth to become less. In June, the counter stood at 700 million. So it took six months to get to 100 million users. In June, growth was still achieved in three months.

In an annual writes David Marcus, chief of the Messenger service, on all the new features added to the service this year, including video calling and emoji’s, and about what awaits us this year. He predicts the end of the phone, expanding Messenger services such as buying airline tickets and order taxi rides and virtual assistant M. will make its entrance
