Pokémon monsters leave Kijkduin – DutchCowboys

Bad news for Pokémon GO enthusiasts and the hospitality industry in and around Kijkduin, good news for the residents and the nature reserve itself. Niantic has stated that they are the monsters from Kijkduin to go back. That happens for next Tuesday morning. In addition, the maker of the popular game will also have to ensure that there is no Pokémon more appear on and around railway lines and they see if it is possible for the critters, and players, the night also from a rest.

In a press release of the Municipality of The Hague stated that Niantic admittedly has to meet the requirements of the municipality before a lawsuit would come. The interlocutory proceedings in this matter was scheduled for October 11, but that is now no more.

now The question is, of course, or the example of the Municipality of the Hague, which has therefore succeeded seems to be the Pokémon GO nuisance to push back with the threat of legal sabre-rattling against the creators, the result is going to get. The time will have to learn.

anyway, so you can only have this weekend (and maybe Monday), and still enjoy all of the many Pokémon that are on and around Kijkduin popping up. Then you will have a new hotspot to look for. In the Belgian Fort Lillo perhaps? ;)

The fact that the Pokémon will no longer will be diving on or around railways is, of course, a very good thing. I see during my daily walks still regularly young people are already staring at their screen, without careful, about street racing to find the next Charmander, Vulpix or any of the 147 other monsters. The surprised at to some extent that not more accidents happened. Anyway, when this behaviour is in the vicinity of railways than understand everyone that this is actually even more dangerous.
