The past few years was the iOS operating system of Apple, the most widely used system for the business market in the Netherlands. According to the latest statistics, the share of iOS this year, however, decreased and the share of Android understand has grown. This is Android now bigger than iOS.
an analysis of Computer Profile shows that Android is responsible for 41% of the business market in the Netherlands. iOS is good for 38% and Microsoft 17%. These three operating systems are the only three large players, as BlackBerry OS and Symbian since 2012 is almost completely gone.
It is noticeable that there is a large difference between the incidence of the operating systems and the number of devices per company. For example, almost three-quarters of the businesses in that one or more iPhones in use, while Android only 55% of the companies. The average number of provided Android devices per company, however, is a lot higher than the number of iPhones, so Android will eventually have a greater share in the business market.
The most common smartphonefabrikant yet is Apple, followed by Samsung. The lead of Apple, Samsung seems to be the last years more and more to shrink. So was Samsung in 2013, good for only 18 percent, but in 2014, this percentage to 25%, and in the meantime, Samsung is good for more than 30%.
