Microsoft Office 365 gets better support for pen input and 3D Hardware.Info

Microsoft has a big update announced for its Office 365 platform. The focus is on improved support for digital pens and the use of 3D models. The software is together with the Creators Update for Windows 10 and the Surface Studio all-in-one announced.

first, Word, the Ink Editor, which allows the underline, highlight and delete text a lot easier. This feature is available immediately to Office 365 subscribers.

Windows versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint get it today Ink Replay, where written text is rewound and played back. This also works with the Surface Dial, a new input device which by means of rotation functions can be performed.

PowerPoint gets the beginning of 2017, a digital ruler. In combination with a pen you need a hand, the ruler can move, while with the other a straight line can be draw. For devices with large screens will get Word the beginning of 2017 a new display mode. In this mode, there are two pages at the same time, which can be browsed. Also there is a pinch to zoom to zoom in and out.

Next year, Microsoft brings 3D models to Office as part of the Creators to Update. This should put 3D models seamlessly integrated into documents, where they are rotated, moved and can be enlarged. These 3D models can then, among other in Paint 3D to be made.
