Google Privacy Policy no longer in conflict with law – NU.nl

Google now asks “unambiguous consent of all its users for the use of personal data”, the AP notes.

The search giant says it is satisfied in response that all the concerns of the AP have been removed and the investigation is completed.

The company was reprimanded in 2013 because the user would not inform well about how their data was used. There was also requested permission to use that data.

Therefore, the privacy watchdog demanded measures including burden of penalty. In 2015, Google already took some measures which much of the violation was resolved. Thus, for instance, made clear that YouTube is a Google service, and calls the company’s new users since last year for permission to combine their personal data
