The new Dead Rising was the announced at Microsoft’s recent E3 press conference and will be released initially only for Xbox One and Windows 10. Now it was announced that the Dead Rising 4 Xbox One Exclusive only is temporary and that a PS4 version of the game is not excluded.
Thus, the developer is doing the same as happened with Rise of the Tomb Raider. This game is in fact true in the first instance only for Xbox One and Windows 10.
It was later revealed that the game also for PlayStation 4 and Steam would come out. The Dead Rising 4 Xbox One Exclusive comes first to the PC and Xbox One on 6 December. Capcom has announced that the game first 90 days of Windows 10, and the title is made available on Steam. The Dead Rising 4 Xbox One Exclusive will take a little longer, the game is valid for one year for the Xbox One.
The title will therefore next year probably also published by Capcom for PlayStation 4. An exact release date at the moment not yet known. Given that the game in any case at the end of 2016 for the Xbox One and PC will come, it means we game probably can expect the end of 2017.
We knew for E3 really all that a new Dead Rising in the making was in the house Capcom. The previous title was a reasonable success and the wait for a new title in the franchise was not long. Dead Rising 3 was, however, a full Microsoft Exclusive. At E3, we have seen a lot more of the new zombie game where you again have a sea of undead where you you have to wade with various weapons through.
As mentioned, the new Dead Rising 4 Xbox One Exclusive initially for Xbox One and Windows 10 on 6 december. A few months later, it will be possible to buy the title also via Steam for PC.
