Finding your way with Google Maps, write a paper using Wikipedia and communicate via Facebook, the Internet has become an essential part of our lives. Tuesday the worldwide web is made exactly 25 years and Facebook do not go unnoticed this milestone.
It’s Tuesday, exactly 25 years ago that it was possible for the general public to make use of the worldwide web. Facebook celebrates get to see this so-called Internaut Day with a picture that Facebook users when they log in. On the image to see its astronauts and computers, a reference to the origin of the worldwide web. When the image is the following: “We are celebrating 25 years of connecting. Today it is 25 years ago that the Internet was opened to the rest of the world.
