The era of Windows 7 is October 31 next year really to an end. From that date, manufacturers may not sell more computers or laptops with Windows 7. And Windows 8 must be to believe: Only Windows 10 may still be starting pre-installed on machines.

Professional
It states that the latest version of Windows 7 and 8.1 on October 31, 2016 to be delivered last. Windows 7 already only sold as Professional Edition – Home and Ultimate since October 31, 2014 are no longer shipped on computers
It is obviously not only for Windows 7, but also to Windows 8.1.. Also, Windows 8 is eventually phased out, but that happens even earlier: on June 30, 2016.
OEM sales
Microsoft will only stop their sales to retailers increased. Which may still just sell Windows 7 computers after that date, so the computers remain on sale while stocks last.
