Cheap

When parcel delivery is the last part of the delivery is often the most expensive. The robots must be able to bring in large quantities to a single hub, then cheaply by having robots perform the final delivery.

Among other Amazon is working on a similar concept, but with Flying worried chaperones. That could go to probably work faster than the robots Starship, but technologically complicated. It is also still working on regulations for drones to ensure security.

Starship hopes in 2016 to conduct the first trials with the carts, including in the US and the UK.
