Mobile data usage in years doubled attendance 4G – NU.nl

The explosive increase is mainly due to increasing more people are switching to the 4G network with larger data bundles. More than half of the data volume (14.9 billion MB) now comes with 4G connectivity. On the 3G network has a total of 12.7 million MB consumed in the second quarter.

The number of mobile connections with both data and voice has risen in the past year by 11 percent to more than 11.5 connections.

Cable

The number of Dutch home cable internet has decreased by 77 000 connections in the quarter.

The number of households with a fiber link is correct by 7.5 percent to 792 thousand connections. The number of DSL connections increased caution in the second quarter, with over 50,000 terminals
