The latest version of Windows 10 (version 1511) can not be installed manually via the Media Creation Tool. Earlier could do that, but Microsoft has withdrawn the update files.
Do you use now the Media Creation Tool to install Windows 10, you will get back the version of the operating system as in July for the first time was released – build 10 240, to be exact. Microsoft wants the update to version 1511 then takes place via Windows Update.
Waiting
The update will be rolled out this month. But if you install it on Windows 10 in November first, then you should still wait a month for the latest version. The reason is that you have 31 days to return to your old installation. Then the November update will be automatically downloaded and installed.
