Microsoft is going to organize a meeting on September 30 as had been expected. The company sent the invitation below to the American press.
The invitation states that Microsoft will show you what the next step is for Windows and for business customers. The invitation does not speak specifically about Windows 9, but it is expected that the next version of the operating system will be announced. Internally called Windows 9 at this time Windows Threshold but it is expected that eventually named Windows 9 will be used.
Windows 9 will include the classic Start Menu to go back so Windows will appear again more Windows 7 and Microsoft also possible that a test version of Windows 9 will be made available on September 30, however, this could be early October. The final version of Windows 9 will be released next year. The event on 30 September at 19:00 hours Dutch time.
