Specially path for smartphone users in China – Volkskrant

China, the country with the most mobile phones in the world, take action against the nuisance caused by smartphone users in traffic. The metropolis of Chongqing is the first city in China a special walkway built for people who want to look and run. Simultaneously on their mobile phone

The markings on the pavement separating pedestrians along two paths: one for smartphone users, the other for people without mobile phones. The smartphone sidewalk on a busy and tourist spot in the city, is 3 meters wide and 50 meters long. The trail is marked with a warning: Mobile phone users, use this path at your own risk. This reports the China Daily newspaper.

There pedestrian accidents happen frequently because they are busy with their mobile phone. So was there last year in Taiwan, a woman of a pier off because she was Facebooking. This solution would, in any case non-smartphone users should be against their fellow unwary pedestrians protected.

Experiment
