The space organization SpaceX Saturday Dutch time succeeded in the first stage of propellant rocket Falcon 9, after the launch Friday at 22:43 hours Dutch time , safely and without any problems landing on a floating platform in the Atlantic Ocean. This announced SpaceX Saturday.
The Falcon 9 rocket, carrying, among other things, a new experimental foldable laboratory for astronauts aboard the ISS, was Friday Dutch time successfully launched from launch pad 40 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida.
Ten minutes after launch the first thruster was disconnected from the supply capsule CRS-8 dragon which then further set sail towards the space where the is expected to arrive Sunday. The first propellant rocket returned to Earth and then successfully land on the platform at sea.
Swell by waves
This successful landing was considerably more difficult since the floating platform bobbed back and forth by the waves. Earlier, the SpaceX succeeded to return the rocket to land safely. In four other previous attempts went wrong and the rocket fell and exploded.
