Facebook: This is the VR glasses of the future – PC

The first generation VR goggles consists of quite cumbersome devices. As far as Facebook, this will change in the future. The social network shows before a new concept.

Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg presented the idea at the annual F8 conference. According to Zuckerberg sees a virtual reality headset simply in the future like a regular glasses.

The example of Facebook has some similarities with Google Glass, as well as Microsoft’s Hololens. The glasses must also support augmented reality, where digital information layer is superimposed on the real world.

Facebook expects the social network a few years for a large part videos exists. Also virtual reality videos. And to encourage filmmakers thereto, the company comes with a special camera.
