Windows Update will start automatically in Windows 10 upgrade from 2016 – PC World

Microsoft is making it harder to dodge every Windows 10. Starting next year, the operating system is no longer offered as an optional update, but as a recommended update.

Depending upon your settings in Windows Update may mean that the installation of Windows 10 starts automatically. “Recommended updates the same way to receive important updates” must be on purpose. When too many users this is the case.

Do you not make the upgrade to Windows 10 automatically, you should uncheck the box next to this setting. If you do not, then start the installation of Windows 10, when the update has been downloaded.

‘Clear message’

Microsoft does say there in that you get a “clear message” so that you do not install Windows 10 by accident. You can then choose to wait for it.

Also, you can roll back the installation to Windows 7 or 8 / 8.1 if you are not satisfied with it. This must be done within 31 days.

a mistake, thank you!

Recently, Windows 10 was as an optional update already “accidentally” pushed through. Therefore, Microsoft apologized. It was a ‘mistake’, but now it seems mainly a harbinger.
