Apple says again and again that the Apple Watch their most personal product ever but on the dials and wristbands after there are actually very few opportunities to create truly unique smart watch. The Blocks is the first modular smart watch where you add new features to itself. On the first day there is already more than half a million dollars raised on Kickstarter.
In June we wrote about the Blocks, a smart watch where your new features to add by changing the links of the strap. Battery switching click eg fixed to let your battery last longer, or add fingerprint scanner via a different link.
Set up your smart watch together
An interesting concept, which lets you connect to let all your needs on the smart watch. Would you for instance use the watch only if you’re running, you can add a cardiac rhythm and GPS link.
People with an average wrist size could link four modules simultaneously on the blocks, while those with a smaller wrist pleasure will have to take three different links.
As the creators of Blocks a open platform have created, developers can in future develop their own links, though it depends of course on the success of the Blocks on whether companies actually here are going to take effort for
Through a corresponding iOS app, you can watch the Blocks-smart mount your iPhone. In the app you subsequently select different dials out and see which apps support the Blocks. In the app you also get access to the Block Store where you can purchase your new links to.
Half a million in a day
crowdfunding campaign The Blocks is a phenomenal success. With retrieved 36 days to go, there is already more than half a million, while the target amount “only” $ 250,000 is.
The first early bird options are therefore long and wide forgiven, but if you’re quick, you can order another Blocks for $ 275, – (converted). You get a Blocks sent home in May 2016 with four modules of your choice.
