Microsoft shows Windows 8-cheap laptop – ZDNet.be

Microsoft had already announced that this year cheap Windows laptops would appear. The first device that meets these conditions is now drained.

The folks at Mobile Geeks have a picture of the HP Stream 14 can get a laptop that will be sold for $ 199 later this year in the United States .

The Stream 14 has an unclear AMD processor, a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution display, 2GB of RAM and 32 or 64 GB of RAM. There is also a slot available for a memory card. Without the Windows logo you’d Stream 14 can easily compare the Chromebook 14 HP, one of the most popular Chromebooks at the time.

In addition to the included storage claims Mobile Geeks Microsoft 100GB supplies power cloud storage for free from Onedrive, and that for a period of two years. Not coincidentally, the exact same cloud storage like what Google provides all Chromebooks.

There is as yet no launch date announced for the Stream 14 or the other cheap Windows laptops, but we suspect that we are not very long at have to wait. At the IFA fair in early September, where the ZDNet editors present, we expect more details around the frontal attack by Microsoft on the Chromebooks.
