Samsung has in a press release the new phones in the Samsung Galaxy A-line unveiled. The Samsung Galaxy A5 2017, and A3 2017 will soon be available in the Netherlands; the also today announced Galaxy A7 2017 to come to our country.
Samsung Galaxy A5 2017
The Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 is the more expensive variant, which is more high-endspecificaties offers over its cheaper brother. The Super amoledscherm is of 5.2 inch and has a full HD resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The Exynos 7880 chipset has eight cores clocked at 1.9 GHz. In combination with the 3 GB of ram should be daily tasks, absolutely no problem for this unit. Both the front and the rear camera have a 16-megapixel sensor
The Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 has 32 GB of expandable storage and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The battery is 3000 mAh in size, and using Fast Charging technology for fast charging via USB type-c. Also the phone has an IP68 certification, making a splash in the water no problem.

The Samsung Galaxy A3 2017, compared to the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 some more low-endspecificaties. The phone is equipped with a 4.7-inch super amoledscherm with a HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Under the hood we find the Exynos 7870 chipset that eight cores, has 1.5 GHz clocks. The ram is 2 GB and the expandable storage measures 16 GB. The device has rear and front cameras respectively, with 13 – and 8-megapixelsensoren and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The battery has a capacity of 2350 mAh and charge usb-c. And just like its more expensive brother has th e A3 2017 an IP68 certification. That makes this the cheapest waterproof smartphone from Samsung.
pricing and availability
The Samsung Galaxy A5 2017, and A3 2017 are from 3 February, available in Dutch shops. The devices are available in the colors gold, pink and black. The Galaxy A5 2017 will get a price of 429 euros. The Galaxy A3 2017 is 329 euro and one hundred euro cheaper.
