Tele2 do not leave new customers with a 3G device more NU.nl

That the provider reported on its website. The measure goes to 1 February, says a spokesperson NU.nl. New customers will extended be notified about the measure, if they have a sim-only subscription.

Existing customers who have a 3G device, can continue to do that. If they can renew subscription, they will have to upgrade to a 4G model.

Customers of Tele2 can continue to make use of the 3G network of T-Mobile, as the own 4G network from the Swedish provider is not accessible. However, because such 3G use Tele2 costing more than consumption through its own network, the provider minimize this.

Tele2 promises to customers to warn them before they actually be blocked. If the blockage is effectively implemented, people can still be called, but they can no longer make calls, send sms and surf the internet.
