Mammoth Skeleton auctioned quarter million – Dutch Daily (subscription)

A rare skeleton of a woolly mammoth at a British auction for nearly a quarter of a million euro sold. The skeleton is under auction Summers Place Auctions is one of the most complete specimens ever.

The skeleton is unusually tall and weighs an estimated at six tons. It comes as curator Errol Fullor rare for an almost complete skeleton comes on the market.
