Alyssa Carson is thirteen years old. She speaks English, Spanish, French and Chinese, already has three space camps visited in 2033 and wants to Mars. At NASA they give her a good chance.
The American Carson himself thinks she has a good chance because they are ‘training’ for nine years to become an astronaut and ever to land on Mars. In a video of the BBC she says that her resume is just better with all the training they follow, making them stand out in a few years among other potential Mars Travelers.
NASA says Carson the right steps converts to eventually astronaut. The girl stressed, perhaps a little too obvious, that on weekends she does nice things “to still be able to have a child.”
