Nearly three-quarters Dutch has smartphone – All About Phones

Nearly 75 percent of the Dutch have a smartphone. In 2012, had only about half of the Dutch a smartphone. Samsung is by far the most popular manufacturer. Nearly half of all smartphones in the Netherlands of the South Korean manufacturer.

Other popular brands are HTC, LG, Sony, Nokia and Huawei. The research also shows that men tend to have the latest type phones than women. More than half of the Galaxy S5 owners are male. 61 percent of iPhone 5s owners are men.

According to Telecompaper iPhone owners are more sedentary than consumers who use phones from other brands. Three quarters of iPhone owners who have a tablet, using an iPad.

Telephones are often discarded or given away. Eleven percent of the respondents received his smartphone from a family member.
