Pokémon GO is the most searched on Google in the year 2016. This is evident from the lists published by Google Trends. On Google was, in 2016, the most-used search term Pokémon GO, followed by the terms iPhone 7 and Donald Trump.
The list of values Google at the end of the year say a lot about what is played in that year and on the general spirit of the age.
