Tech in resistance against re-entry ban – Telegraaf.nl

    The document, an “amicus letter”, is sent in the context of the lawsuit by the states of Minnesota and Washington is brought. The tech will give their vision on the issue, even though they are not a party in the lawsuit. Although a lower court the re-entry ban previously the table had been swept, the appeal against that judgment yet. Trump was last weekend, unprecedented fierce in his reaction to the ruling. He denounced the judge and swore to the re-entry ban to restore.

    Earlier, the group companies have spoken out against the decree of Trump. The tech suggest that their staff directly affected by the re-entry ban. They find that there are already strict immigration rules and are of the opinion that a stricter immigration policy for companies more expensive and more difficult to find qualified workers. They also indicate the large contribution that immigrants make to the American tech industry. “The experience and the energy of people who come to our country for a better life for themselves and their children to seek the American Dream to pursue – are intertwined in the social, political and economic life of the United States”, to read in the letter.

    it is Notable that a number of tech the letter is not signed: Amazon, Oracle, IBM, SpaceX, and Tesla. The boss of Oracle, is consultant of the team of Trump, Elon Musk of SpaceX and Tesla sits on the advisory boards of Trump and Jeff Bezos of Amazon has been critically drawn up in respect of the election Trump, but he has not spoken about the immigration policy.
